Couldn't put it down!I read a lot of books, and unfortunately it's gotten to the point where plots have become quite predictable. Not the case with this book! This book was so intriguing that I'd sit down to read just a chapter, but I couldn't stop when it ended—I just wanted to keep going.
At first, it seems like a straightforward thriller, but it quickly emerges into something more—both philosophical and science fiction—raising questions about religion, belief, and life itself. It's deeply rewarding for the intellectually curious while also being an entertaining and enjoyable read. Really well done, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. A.L.
A fun and thought provoking ride It's always refreshing to see when someone isn't afraid to take on sensitive or controversial topics without coming across as preachy or driven by an agenda, while keeping it FUN! Truth Brings Real Freedom Having read some of author Jeff Rick's writings in the past, I suspected we were in for a treat with his new book. Sure enough. My plan, which was to read a few pages a night , did not get far. I could not put his book down until it was late into the night. When my eyes began to burn, I was forced to go to bed. I finished the book in five days. Jeff gives us characters and a plot that we can identify with. I felt I was there and the characters were me! This is a Sci Fi novel with much needed truth woven throughout the book. The characters bring a spirit of honor, respect and compassion while being extremely human. Truth is woven throughout his book in a way that you cannot help but find out what happens next...I am a little sad that I am finished with this book. It will be difficult to replace. C.L.
